Dolphin Cay condominiums are continuing the 2018 trend right into the first quarter of 2019 where the average price per square foot for our condominiums has increased by approximately $6.00 to $318 per square foot. This was largely the result of the sale of a few updated units in Antigua and Fernandina. Two of these units sold at prices at or in excess of $360 per square foot. A total of 6 units were sold in the first quarter of 2019 and there are currently seven units on the market, one additional pending sale and at least two more units expected to be on the market soon. All of this activity is consistent with historical trends for the past several years.
In the past twelve months, there have been 31 condominium units sold in Dolphin Cay, with a low of 2 units from Curacao and a high of seven units in Antigua. The overall average price per square foot is up by more than 12% in Dolphin Cay, year over year. The chart below demonstrates the historical pricing trends.
