Dolphin Cay is situated on 88 acres of lushly landscaped property with over 4 miles of boardwalks and nature trails that meander through a 24-acre wildlife preserve and around Spoonbill Lake. The trails start on Dolphin Cay Lane between Antigua, Bermuda & Curacao Buildings and continues along Boca Ciega Bay, along the private beach and through the preserve. The trail continues the Osprey Pointe side of Dolphin Cay, past the fishing pier and ending near the Osprey Pointe pool. Additional paths surround Spoonbill Lake.
Dolphin Cay maintains a Private Beach on Boca Ciega Bay behind the Bermuda and Curacao Buildings. The beach has over 2-acres of soft white sand and is adjacent to a third beach-front pool. Adjacent to the private beach and beach pool is the outdoor picnic / grilling area, the wildlife observation platform that overlooks Cats Cove, a tidal pond that is home to a variety of birds and aquatic wildlife. Kayak launch and storage area is located near the private beach as well. The grilling area can be reserved for residence who wish to have a private party. The Dolphin Cay Fishing Pier is situated next to Guadeloupe Building and the preserve. The 100 foot pier sits on Boca Ciega Bay and is equipment with running water and electricity fishing activities. There is a Butterfly Garden that is maintained by residentsis located near the Casino.
